This Necklace depicts the battle between the Nutcracker and the Mouse King on Christmas Eve!
 
The Nutcracker is a two part ballet from 1892, adapted from a novel written by E.T.A Hoffman. The story tells of A girl named Clara (Marie in the original story) who is gifted a wooden nutcracker by her Godfather Drosselmeyer.
 
As the clock strikes twelve that night the girl finds herself caught in the midst of a battle between the Nutcracker and the Mouse King, by distracting the Mouse king with her slipper the Nutcracker is given a chance to win the battle.
 
Act II features the Nutcracker and Clara's journey to the Land of Sweets ruled by the Sugar Plum Fairy!
